Prior to joining Mayall Hurley, Salwa was a legal intern at a large law firm assisting in general litigation. Experience also includes, stints as a legal intern with Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office obtaining experience in Civil Litigation and employment related Class Action lawsuits. While with the DFEH, Salwa distributed nearly $350,000 in settlement funds in DFEH’s largest class action lawsuit for violations of the Family Medical Leave Act.

Salwa Khader Haddad is a member of Mayall Hurley’s Civil Litigation practice.  She focuses on litigating employment and labor disputes and counseling employees.  Clients include victims of race/national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, and sex/gender discrimination.  Clients also include victims of sexual harassment and whistleblower retaliation.  Experience extends to FMLA and CFRA violations, failure to accommodate, minimum wage and hour violations, and PAGA class action lawsuits.
